An exhibition “1812 in private collections in Moscow and St. Petersburg” was opened in the Alexander Palace-Museum, which is dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the war of 1812. The exposition consists of more than 300 works of decorative and applied arts.

Step 1
The exhibition runs from May 16 to September 16 at the Tsarskoye Selo State Museum-Reserve, which is located in the cultural capital of Russia, the city of St. Petersburg. The place was not chosen by chance, because it is one of the most beloved residences of Emperor Alexander I.
Step 2
The Museum-Reserve is open to visitors every day from 10.00 to 18.00, except Tuesday and the last Wednesday of the month. Competently plan your recreation program in the city on the Neva, because otherwise you will not be able to get into a number of establishments that are closed on certain days.
Step 3
Tickets for the exhibition can be purchased at the ticket office of the museum or ordered by phone: +7 (812) 465–2024 (answering machine), +7 (812) 465–9424 (administrator). Ticket price: for adults 100 rubles, for pensioners, labor veterans, conscripts, cadets and students - 50, for students of schools and secondary specialized educational institutions - 30 rubles. Do not forget to present a document certifying your social status (student ID, pension certificate).
Step 4
Organized tourist groups can visit the museum only if there is an agreement between the museum-reserve and a travel company for the provision of excursion services. If this document is not available, you must present tickets purchased on that day.

Museum-reserve "Tsarskoe Selo" is located 20 kilometers from St. Petersburg, at Pushkin., St. Sadovaya, 7. You can get there:
• from Vitebsk railway station by electric train to the stop “Detskoe Selo”, and from there by minibus # 382, # 377, # 371 or by bus # 381, # 371 to the State Museum-Reserve “Tsarskoye Selo”;
• from the metro stations "Kupchino" or "Zvezdnoye" by bus No. 186 to the stop of the "State Museum-Reserve" Tsarskoye Selo ";
• from the Moskovskaya metro station by minibus No. 545 or No. 342 to the stop of the State Museum-Reserve Tsarskoe Selo.
