Many brides think that there is no difference between a wedding dress and a wedding dress. However, for those who intend to get married, you need to know that there are some rules regarding a wedding dress that should be considered when choosing a dress.
Instructions
Step 1
The rules of the Church speak of the modesty of the bride and her dress. Therefore, if possible, give up an overly glamorous outfit with many pretentious or bright details. If you have already chosen a stunningly chic wedding dress, you can buy yourself another one, only more modest, as a wedding dress. In addition, unlike a wedding dress, you can still wear this dress in the future in everyday life. There are no strict requirements for the material from which this dress will be sewn, so you can select the fabric, guided by personal preferences.
Step 2
When choosing the color of the dress, keep in mind that white symbolizes innocence and purity, so this is not the best choice if you have lived with your husband in a civil marriage for a long time, or if you are not getting married for the first time. If you wish, for the wedding ceremony, you can give preference to dresses of any pastel shades. For example, it could be a beige, blue, or cream dress, or a champagne-colored outfit. Also, if it suits you, you can safely purchase a peach, pale pink or pink-lilac dress or an ivory dress.
Step 3
An important selection criterion is the length of the dress: outfits above the knee are categorically unacceptable. Dresses with a fluffy skirt or with a long train look very elegant, but they have a rather serious drawback - they are impractical for a wedding, since they will significantly complicate the procession during this ceremony.
Step 4
The wedding dress should be extremely closed - the opening of the shoulders, neckline, back and arms is not at all welcomed by the church. If you did buy an open-type dress, you will need to cover open areas of the body. To do this, you should additionally purchase a beautiful thin scarf, bolero, cape or stole, which will be in harmony with the dress. To hide that your shoulders are open, you should give preference to a long flowing veil. If the dress is sleeveless and, therefore, the arms are completely open, according to the rules of good form, you need to choose gloves, the length of which will reach the elbows.
