It's already 2014, with 118 days off expected. Many are worried about the question of when and how much they will rest.
So the new year 2014 has come, all the New Year holidays are behind us. And many working people living in Russia are worried about the question: "What days will be non-working this year." As it turned out, this year there will be only 247 working days (if we take a five-day working week). And, given that there are only 365 days a year, we can conclude that we will have a lot of rest (as many as 118 days).
According to the decree of the government of the Russian Federation, several transfers were carried out, as a result of this, the following days off will appear (for a five-day working week in which there are two days off):
The Russians' New Year holidays lasted as much as 8 days - from January 1 to January 8.
In February 2014, Defender of the Fatherland Day falls on Sunday, so it was decided to postpone one additional day off (February 24) to the November holidays.
In March, celebrations associated with International Women's Day will be held from 8 to 10 (March 7 will be a short pre-holiday day).
May 2014 has the largest number of days off, namely 7 days. From 1 to 4 May there will be a weekend associated with the Spring and Labor Day (April 30 will be a short pre-holiday day); May 9-11 - weekend associated with the Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War (May 8 will be a short pre-holiday day).
In June there will be holidays associated with the day of Russia, so there will be a weekend from 12 to 15 June (11 June will be a short pre-holiday day).
November will delight workers with 4 more days off - from November 1 to 4, which will be associated with the celebration of the Day of National Unity. This time, no short pre-holiday days are expected.
