Step 1
Monday, the first day of Shrovetide week, is called Meeting. In the old days, preparations for merry festivities began on this day - they built ice slides, fortresses, built swings, made a straw effigy - a symbol of Maslenitsa. You can do the same near your home. Schedule your weekly visits and visits to you, determine the composition of the guests. Conduct a revision in the kitchen - is there everything for making pancakes. Purchase what you need. On this day, you can already bake pancakes. By the way, among the ancestors, the first pancake was always intended for deceased relatives and was given to the poor.

The second day of Maslenitsa - Zaigrysh. Most of the Shrovetide rituals of this day boiled down to matchmaking. On this day, young people went to the bride, chose their grooms and brides. Invite you your second half - potential or real - to eat a pancake somewhere, ride down the mountains.
Step 3
Wednesday was Gourmet - they set tables that day and went to their mother-in-law for pancakes. Don't break with tradition. Perhaps, on this day, having eaten delicious pancakes, you will feel great respect and kindred feelings for each other.

Thursday - Take a walk. Although this day of the oil week has many names - Fracture, Shirokiy, Razgul, Razgulny Quarter. Wide Maslenitsa begins - festivities to the fullest. Gather your acquaintances for a holiday in the open air, arrange a comic fist fight, take the snow fortresses you built earlier, competitions, and finally have a noisy feast at home. Throw out all the negativity that has accumulated over the winter.

Friday - Mother-in-law's evening. On this day, the mother-in-law comes to visit her son-in-law with a return visit. Don't forget to invite relatives to dinner. Prepare a treat - bake pancakes, think about a variety of fillings. Show your affection for each other.

On Saturday - Zolovka's gatherings - the daughters-in-law laid the table for the husband's relatives. Prepare a gift for your sister-in-law - this is also required by tradition.
Step 7
Seeing off, or Forgiveness Sunday, is the final day of Shrovetide week. On the last day before Great Lent, ask each other for forgiveness for all offenses, remember your deceased relatives. Perform the ritual of farewell to Shrovetide: for this, invite your friends out of town, to the dacha, build a scarecrow - a symbol of winter and burn it. Jump over the fire, taking precautions. Clean Monday, which begins Great Lent, is a time of cleansing from sins and bad thoughts. Go to the bathhouse that day, or at least take a "meaningful" bath.
