The last years have passed under the tutelage of the fire element, now earth is replacing fire. The year of the Brown Dog is approaching and you need to carefully think over the New Year's table - from decoration to the menu.
It should be noted right away that the symbol of 2018 has simple preferences - the Dog does not need any special delights. There should be a lot of hearty dishes and delicious drinks on the table. But it is better to keep the table setting in the same style with the decoration of the room, with its decor. The color palette should be natural. Let there be yellow, brown, green, beige, sand, white, gold. But it is also desirable to dilute the strict palette with bright accents. But the catchy and gloomy colors are gone - they have no place in 2018!
A calm atmosphere should reign at home, setting up loved ones and guests for emotional communication. You can arrange a New Year's table in eco-style - it is very popular now. The dog will appreciate your efforts and will help you throughout the year! Just remember to use natural materials such as cotton and linen. Therefore, you can lay a burlap tablecloth or a plain linen cloth on the table. You can even use two tablecloths - this combination will be no less successful. Choose a main tablecloth and cover the entire table with it. It can be beige, sand or cream color without patterns and designs. But take the second one in width less, and brighter in color - red, green is suitable. With this contrast, you can delimit the table space for different dishes.
And the wooden table can be left without a tablecloth at all. Take only cotton napkins, they can be beautifully twisted in the form of dogs.
Decorate the 2018 New Year's table with transparent vases, clay pots, wicker baskets with dried flowers. Do not forget about the universal Christmas decoration - spruce branches. Just do not force the table with a lot of decor - there should be a lot of space for dishes. Another universal decoration of the New Year's table (it is also a treat) is tangerines. It is better to celebrate the Year of the Dog without scented candles. Dogs don't like harsh odors. You can limit yourself to one ordinary large candle in the center of the table, if you like them. And there must be a place on the table for a figurine of the symbol of the coming year. Or you can put a small dog figurine at each plate as a present for each guest.
