Garlands and Christmas wreaths are hung on the walls, and beautiful snow-white snowflakes or New Year's figures are hung on the windows. This art of cutting paper stencils is called vytynanka. They are cut from ordinary office paper or cardboard. Most often they are left white, but it is not forbidden to cut them out of colored paper.

Step 1
With the help of protrusions, you can transform any window: it does not matter if it is at home, in the office or in the entrance. On the glass, you can create a whole story or a famous moment from fairy tales. The window can be decorated with lace snowflakes or Santa Claus and Snegurochka welcoming guests.
Step 2
To create a vytynanka, you need to draw the desired pattern on rough paper, and then transfer it to the one with which you will cut. If you draw perfectly, then it is quite possible to let your imagination run wild and come up with a motive on your own. For people who are far from art, there are ready-made stencils on the web or in a store. Drawn or printed stencils should be cut with a clerical or scrapbooking knife, and small nail scissors are also great.
Step 3
Prepare a place for yourself before starting work. Place a cutting mat or clean cutting board under the paper. You can use any surface that you don't mind scratching.
Step 4
Smooth out the finished protrusions if they are wrinkled. You can put them in a heavy book, or you can simply iron them with a warm iron.
Step 5
You can use small pieces of scotch tape or soapy water to glue the vytynanki to glass. To prepare it, grate any soap on a fine grater, and then add a little water to the shavings. You should have a medium-thick gruel.
Soap porridge is applied to the place where the image will be. Then they glue the vytynanka itself and gently iron it with a dry towel. Thus, we glue all the prepared vytynanka.
