A special atmosphere reigns in the house on New Year's Eve. Silvery snowflakes, the smell of spruce branches and tangerines, the sounds of bells - all this creates an incredibly festive mood. Frost habitually draws intricate patterns on the windows, but those who have metal-plastic windows installed will have to forget about the creativity of the frost-artist and start decorating glass and window openings on their own.
It is necessary
- - glue gun, wire ring, spruce branches, decorative elements, thick thread
- - plastic bottles, acrylic paint, scissors, ribbons
- - small capacity, foam rubber, toothbrush
Instructions
Step 1
The coniferous wreath is a popular New Year's attribute that migrated to us from European countries. Take a ring of strong wire as the base of the wreath. To make the decorative element voluminous, lay pine or spruce branches with an overlap.
Step 2
You can decorate the wreath with pine cones, nuts, artificial flowers, and shatterproof balls painted in golden or silver color. Attach all elements with a glue gun.
Step 3
In addition to the wreath, make golden bells. To make them, take small plastic bottles, cut off the lower parts, and paint the upper parts with acrylic paint of the selected color. After drying in the cork, make a hole and thread the tape. Decorate the bottle necks with ribbons.
Step 4
You can use artificial snow to decorate the glass, but if you are used to creating the decor of your apartment with improvised means, use toothpaste and sugar.
Step 5
To make the "tool", wrap a piece of foam rubber with tape so that it is comfortable for you to hold it in your hands. Squeeze a small amount of toothpaste into a prepared container and add a little water. If you overdo it with water, the “paint” will turn out to be too liquid and smudges will form on the glass.
Step 6
Dip the foam sponge into the toothpaste and pat it onto the pattern. Similarly, it is good to draw drifts and snow.
Step 7
If you have a stencil of stars, toys or snowflakes, stick it to the surface of the window, put a small amount of toothpaste diluted with water on the toothbrush, point it towards the window, bend the bristles and slowly release. After the entire surface of the stencil is filled with droplets, remove the stencil.
Step 8
Sugar added to the toothpaste will help add sparkle to the image. After drying on glass under the rays of the sun, it will sparkle with the smallest crystals, creating a three-dimensional image.
Step 9
If after the holidays you do not want to wash windows from festive arts for a long time, create a thread curtain. Prepare golden threads with a length equal to the distance from the eaves to the floor. Draw angels, Christmas trees, stars and bells on cardboard. Cut the details in pairs and glue them directly on the thread. Place beads and small Christmas tree decorations between them in free order. Tie large beads at the ends to make the curtain heavier.
