Christmas decorations are an indispensable attribute of the New Year's holiday. All kinds of balls, candles, "pine cones", figurines of people and animals, garlands. In many families, along with modern toys, there are old ones passed down from generation to generation. Sometimes these toys are a real work of art. No wonder the tree decorated with them looks just gorgeous! But any holiday ends sooner or later. How to store New Year's toys in order to protect them from breakage and damage?

It is necessary

  • - carton boxes;
  • - cotton wool;
  • - napkins.

Instructions

Step 1

Store Christmas toys in thick cardboard boxes, best if the cardboard is "corrugated". If you manage to get boxes of alcohol, that is, with internal partitions - "dividers" from the same cardboard, then this is perhaps the most ideal option. You can ask the sellers in the nearest grocery store for them, especially if you regularly “stock up on goods” there: it is unlikely that a regular customer will be refused.

Step 2

Try to put as many toys in each "compartment" formed by the partitions of the box walls as they fit up to the top edge of the box. Then they will be tightly packed and the risk of damage from accidental shock is minimal. If the level is slightly lower, it's okay, you can add crumpled paper, napkins, etc. on top. But the higher is no longer possible, because from the pressure when closing the lid of the toy - both the upper one and those under it - can simply burst.

Step 3

Of course, before putting the toys into the compartments, wrap each of them in a napkin. A common advice to wrap a toy over a napkin also in a piece of thick paper or newspaper is advisable only if the boxes with New Year's decorations are going to be transported to another place. And if they are just carefully, trying not to shake, placed on the mezzanine or on top of the wardrobe, such precautions are hardly necessary.

Step 4

So that for the next New Year you can quickly and easily find where which toys are, write inscriptions on the box lids, or stick stickers with instructions: "big balls", "small balls", "figures", etc.

Step 5

Garlands can be stored in the same way in the "compartments" of boxes, but it is better to wind them on some kind of support, or place them in cylindrical containers with lids (from under the "Pringles" chips, for example).
