The bright New Year holiday is approaching. We take out a Christmas tree, a box with toys. And about the horror, while the box was gathering dust in the closet, it was dropped several times by relatives who were cleaning the closet or looking for some things. The toys were broken. But you don't need to run to the store for new jewelry, especially since they are not so cheap now. Make beautiful toys yourself.
Instructions
Step 1
Paper toys are the easiest to make. We buy colored paper for children's creativity in the store and make garlands by gluing paper rings, threading them one into one, chains and lanterns. You can use "Dresden cartonage", a technique that was popular at the beginning of the 20th century. Cut a figure out of cardboard, then apply it to a sheet of cardboard, circle it and get two identical figures. On one we draw the "face" of the figure, on the second - the "back". We paint, glue and stick a sewing pin between them, through which a string is passed to hang the toy. Done!
Step 2
Christmas tree toys can be knitted. If knitting is not your strong point, we make pom-poms out of wool. We connect two cardboard "donuts" and wrap them abundantly with threads, then cut the threads (only from the outside), remove the rings and tie the bundle - the pompom is ready.
Step 3
You can take a raw egg. Having made a hole there, we get rid of the contents and glue the ears, eyes and so on to make funny little people and animals.
Step 4
Salted dough can also be turned into a Christmas tree decoration. A glass of flour is mixed with a glass of finely ground salt. A quarter glass of water, a tablespoon of sunflower oil and a tablespoon of PVA are added. After mixing, we get the desired composition and sculpt beautiful figures, after which we dry them in the oven for about 3 hours at a temperature of 50C and paint them. Do not forget to just insert a wire into the middle of the toy, so that there is something to hang on the tree for.
