If traditional Christmas tree decorations are not pleasing to the eye, and you want something new, create a green beauty decoration with your own hands using what you find in the needlework box.
Instructions
Step 1
Tie up tiny socks. Use threads of two or three colors, knit according to the standard pattern on four knitting needles, but cast on a small number of loops. Connect the finished striped socks with a satin ribbon that can be thrown over a spruce branch. If desired, socks can be decorated with beads or beads. By the same principle, you can create an ornament from two small booties, shoes.
Step 2
Create unique Christmas balls. Take burned out light bulbs or table tennis balls as a base. Draw New Year's patterns on them with acrylic paints or nail polishes, decorate with ribbons, beads, decorative cords, buttons. Hide the base of the lamp behind a round piece of fabric tied along the contour with a ribbon, sew a loop. When using glue, remember that some of them will eat away at the plastic of the tennis ball.
Step 3
Decorate the tree with Christmas angels. Prepare a cardboard with a side of 10 cm, cut a window in it at a distance of 1.5-2 cm from one edge. Fold a small transparent fabric rectangle like a baby accordion and place it between the window and the edge of the cardboard. Wrap the silk thread on the cardboard over the fabric, when the thickness is sufficient, fix all the threads in the window with a separate cord. Cut off the cardboard, straighten the fabric - these will be the wings of an angel. Cut the threads in the middle of the length, trim them, this will be a skirt. Attach a head made from a bead. Draw eyes on it, glue hair from woolen threads. Decorate the angel with sparkles.
Step 4
Roll up the cardboard with a cone, insert a double-folded thread into the sharp end, tie a knot, pull it up, this is a loop for hanging the decoration. Glue the round bottom to the cone. In a circle, carefully lay a colored metallized thread or decorative lace and glue. Start at the top of the cone and change color periodically. Line the bottom with this thread from edge to center. You will get a striped herringbone.
