Choosing an interesting and effective gift for the New Year is not an easy task. But you can impress and surprise your friends and loved ones with an original handmade gift - an unusual "sweet" Christmas tree.
It is necessary
- - floristic foam "Oasis" or polystyrene 7-10 cm wide;
- - wide double-sided tape or glue gun, PVA glue;
- - narrow tape;
- - scissors;
- - knife;
- - compasses;
- - ruler;
- - New Year's tinsel;
- - toothpicks or wooden barbecue sticks;
- - spherical or cone-shaped chocolates or lollipops;
- - glossy or matte wrapping paper of different colors and transparent;
- - packing tape;
- - a chocolate star or a Christmas tree ball.
Instructions
Step 1
Cut out three circles with a diameter of 16, 13 and 10 cm and a cone with a base of 7-8 centimeters from the floral foam "Oasis" or polystyrene. Superimpose the circles on top of each other in the form of a pyramid from largest to smallest, complete the pyramid with a pointed cone. Connect all the parts together with double-sided tape or glue. Use a knife to cut the corners of each circle and top so that the pyramid is shaped like a herringbone, i.e. large cone.
Step 2
Cut a circle with a diameter of 16 cm out of bright wrapping paper. Glue it with glue or double-sided tape to the bottom - the base of the Christmas tree.
Step 3
Tape the resulting floristic foam cone on all sides with double-sided tape. Starting from the base in a spiral, carefully wrap the Christmas tree with New Year's tinsel, tightly pressing the tinsel to the adhesive layer of the tape, to the very top. Trim the tinsel. The Christmas tree is ready.
Step 4
To decorate the Christmas tree, cut out a square about 2 times the size of the Christmas tree ball or chocolate star from transparent wrapping paper. Wrap the star or ball in paper, insert a skewer or toothpick into the base. Wrap the free edges of the paper around the stick and secure with double-sided or plain tape. Stick the star or ball on the stick into the tree instead of the top.
Step 5
Cut several colorful squares out of wrapping paper so that you can freely wrap a lollipop like chupa chups or chocolate candy in them. Wrap each candy in paper, secure the edges of the paper on a stick or toothpick with glue or double-sided tape. Or secure the paper with a ribbon bow. Stick the "Christmas balls" prepared in this way into the Christmas tree in random order from different sides. Make several bows from the packing tape and also attach them with toothpicks to the Christmas tree.
