Another way to make a Christmas tree toy out of paper involves preparing eight multi-colored stripes, four of which should be slightly shorter than the rest. All stripes, however, must be of the same width. Strips of different colors should be glued along in pairs. As a result, you should get 4 stripes, each of which will have sides of a different color.
Next, each strip must be glued, bending in the form of a drop. Two large drops must be glued to each other to make a heart. Small drops are to be glued into the center of large drops. In the end, you will get a two-layer heart, to which you will need to strengthen the braid in order to be able to hang the toy on the Christmas tree.
Fastening elements of such a heart can be done with a stapler. The surface of the heart, both from the inside and from the outside, can be decorated with sparkles and beads.
Star for the tree
You can also make a star using strips of paper. In this case, the same manufacturing principle will have to be applied as in the case of the heart. First you need to cut 6 strips of paper, gluing them together as described above (forming drops from the strips). Further, the drops can be sharpened to form a star from the flower. To do this, bend the drops at the ends. A cone must be glued between the rays of the star. This element can be made by shaping a sheet of paper into a paper bag.
