Hand-made wedding invitations will be a pleasant surprise for guests and will remain as a keepsake. Look for examples on the Internet or in wedding magazines, use your imagination, and you will get original and exclusive invitations.
Instructions
Step 1
If you have a computer and basic skills in a graphic editor for image processing, then an original option can be an invitation, which will contain a collage of photos of the bride and groom surrounded by wedding paraphernalia. Place an invitation text next to the photos, indicating the time and place of the celebration. You can also make a map for each guest, which will indicate the place of celebration and how to get to it.
Step 2
The invitation can be in the form of a postcard - single or double, a scroll, a book. Choose a postcard shape - rectangular, round, square, heart-shaped, curly. If you are making a single card, you can use 2-3 sheets of paper of different colors and sizes, superimposed on each other, or stick a strip of corrugated paper on the main sheet and decorate it with rhinestones or beads. You can pierce a double postcard with a hole punch and fasten it with a satin ribbon or make an original lock from a buttonhole and a button attached to paper. An interesting option might be a scroll sealed with a wax seal or tied with a ribbon. The paper can be aged with tea leaves and a lighter, or decorated with glitter.
Step 3
Draw the main drawing of the invitation yourself with paints, colored pencils or felt-tip pens, or use a template from the Internet. More time and patience will be required to create a collage. For example, you can make a bunch of dry twigs and flowers, cut out glasses or rings from foil, from colored paper - hearts, figurines of doves, from pieces of fabric and cardboard - silhouettes of the bride and groom.
Step 4
Your invitation can be strict and concise, without drawings and collages. Just print the invitation text on colored paper, or write it yourself with colored pen or ink.
