If you purchased a tree in advance, then you should not immediately bring it into a warm room. It is better to put the tree on the balcony, after wrapping it in cloth or paper. When it's time to decorate the tree, bring the tree into the house, but do not unfold the fabric. Let the tree gradually get used to room temperature, otherwise all the needles will quickly crumble. Then chop off the lower branches of the tree and make a cut of 20 centimeters. Dip the trunk into water, into which first add 2 tablespoons of cologne or nitquinol, as well as a spoonful of glycerin.

It is better to replace the traditional cross, which our grandmothers used, with a modern stand with a water tank. The trunk should stand firmly and firmly in the tripod, for this you can use special struts. You can add either a few tablespoons of glycerin to the water, or aspirin, a spoonful of salt and sugar.
