Making a skeleton for a carnival is very simple. This requires minimal artistic ability, unnecessary black tracksuit and white paint.

It is necessary

Black tracksuit, gouache, medium and small brushes, black threads and a needle, tailor's chalk, old newspapers, black gloves and socks, makeup or a skull mask

Instructions

Step 1

Wear a black hooded tracksuit. The tighter the costume fits the body, the more reliable the skeleton for the carnival will turn out. At the same time, keep in mind that the suit will most likely be hopelessly spoiled, since there are few people who like to play sports in a skeleton suit.

Step 2

Have someone mark the location of your elbows, knees, and pelvic bones on your pants and sweatshirt. For this, it is best to use tailor's chalk or a sharp remnant. Labels can be made schematically - bones will be drawn later.

Step 3

Take a safety pin and secure the edges of the hood so that it fits snugly around your face. After that, carefully remove the sweatshirt and tightly sew the edges of the hood with black threads.

Step 4

Stuff the sweatshirt and trousers prepared in this way with old newspapers folded in flat rolls. Press down on the suit until it is flat. Spread old newspapers on the floor or on a table and spread the resulting scarecrow on them. It is advisable to fix the workpiece with tape or tailor's pins.

Step 5

Take a small paint brush and white gouache. The paint can be thinned slightly with water. Draw the bones of the arms on the sleeves, and on the sweatshirt draw the ribs of the skeleton and the spine. The pelvic bones can also be displayed on the jersey if it covers the pelvis.

The bones of the legs are drawn in the same way. Draw the cups of the knees, and then the pelvic bones and the bones of the lower leg.

Step 6

Place folded newspaper in black gloves. Use a thin brush to paint the bones of the arms. The last phalanx can be drawn slightly sharpened to give the impression of claws. In the same way, the bones of the foot are drawn on the toes. But the skeleton of the foot is more convenient to draw by putting a sock on the leg. It is only necessary to first put a plastic bag on the foot. It is advisable to remove the painted sock only after the paint has dried.

Step 7

The finishing touch to the skeleton costume is a skull mask or black and white makeup imitating a skull. You can complement the skeleton costume with a small spider on an elastic band or a decorative chain made of cardboard pasted over with silver foil.
