The atmosphere of the holiday is a special magic that can fill the house with positive and joyfulness. A hand-made Christmas tree will allow you to plunge into this atmosphere much earlier than the New Year. You can use any materials for work, a homemade Christmas tree will not get any worse from this.
It is necessary
- - two skeins of green acrylic yarn;
- - one skein of acrylic yarn of any other color;
- - thick cardboard;
- - scissors;
- - needle or glue;
- - Scotch.
Instructions
Step 1
Twist a cone out of a sheet of thick cardboard so that the radius of its base is approximately 50 centimeters. Secure the edge of the cone with a strip of wide adhesive tape, level the base of the cone with scissors so that it can stand level on a horizontal surface and not fall on its side.
Step 2
From the remains of thick cardboard, cut out two identical rings with an outer diameter of 10 centimeters and an inner diameter of 5 centimeters.
Step 3
Fold the cut rings together and begin to gently wind the green yarn around them. Take your time, try to lay the wound threads evenly, turn to turn.
Step 4
After winding the threads over the entire surface of the rings, begin to lay the second layer of threads, so that you get a tight winding around the rings.
Step 5
Carefully cut the threads along the edge of the outer diameter of the rings, without separating the rings, lay the securing end of the thread inside them, tighten tightly and secure the knots. Now you can remove the threads from the rings.
Step 6
Trim the finished pompom with scissors and set aside. In the same way, make fifty more of these pom-poms, both green and colored. Try to wrap the same density so that the pom-poms are the same size.
Step 7
Distribute all pom-poms by levels. Take a cardboard cone and fasten several ready-made pom-poms on the bottom of its base using thread and a needle or glue. Lay the row at a distance of two to three centimeters from the edge. The bottom row should fit six to eight pom-poms. Next, go up to the top of your tree, reinforcing the finished pom-poms along the surface of the cone.
Step 8
Try to distribute the colored pom-poms in such a way that they look like a Christmas tree decorated with balls. Decorate the top of the tree with a colored pompom.
Step 9
Along the bottom edge on a cardboard base, make several cuts (notches), bend them inward and coat their surfaces with glue. Attach the finished tree to a round base to keep it from falling. The tree is ready.
