It is necessary

- - basting pins, scissors;
- - 2 ribbons (white + blue).

Step 1
So, first cut the ribbons into rectangular pieces. Try to make all the sections of the ribbon the same. Pin one piece of fabric to the ball. So the base is ready, move on to the next step.
Step 2
Fold all the other pieces of tape into small triangles, as shown in the photo.

Now start using all the same pins to attach the triangles from the ribbons to the ball: start from the base. Do not forget to alternate rows: 1st row - blue ribbons, 2nd row - white. Continue this way until the end of your styrofoam ball.
Step 4
Next, using pins, start attaching ribbon triangles to the ball - start from the base. Alternate rows - first a row of blue ribbons, then white. And so on until the end of the ball. The combination of blue and snow-white is the most suitable for the New Year's winter holiday, but you can try to make a Christmas ball from other colors, golden ribbons will also look very beautiful.
Step 5
Tie the finished ball with ribbon. It should be in harmony in color with the entire ball. Or just sew on a loop to make it easier to immediately hang the resulting toy on the Christmas tree. So a beautiful ball of ribbons for the Christmas tree is ready, Happy New Year!
