Club performances are the main form of self-presentation of a rock band. Performing the program on the stages of clubs, the collective gradually gets used to the attention of the public, is remembered for its sound and appearance, and forms the basic demeanor on the stage. The organization of performances in the club is, as a rule, the leader of the group or the concert manager.
Instructions
Step 1
Find the club you want to perform at. It is not necessary to start with the most popular and promoted "Plan B", "X. O.", etc. - for beginners, as a rule, they offer performances with redemption of tickets. Lesser known clubs, whose names you may first read on the day of your search, will be happy to invite you free of charge (it's best not to talk about royalties for now). List several clubs.
Step 2
Call the administration of the clubs. Be clear about your intentions, ask what time at what time you can speak, what the conditions of the performance (equipment, dressing rooms, stage) and payment (redemption of tickets, inviting a certain number of guests, you pay, you get paid, etc.).
Step 3
Send a demo recording at the request of the club administrator. Wait for the final answer and confirmation of all agreements.
Step 4
Tell everyone in the group about your talk. Prepare the program and yourself for the performance.
Step 5
Please arrive at the club at least one hour before your performance. Even with the most stringent agreements, the program may shift forward or backward (one team did not perform, the other performed 20 minutes longer than planned). During this time, you need to take a break from the road, put on stage costumes, put on makeup and just relax before the performance.
Step 6
After going on stage, plug in your instruments. Do not rush or twitch, even if it seems to you that it is happening very slowly. Tune the sound and be calm. The people behind the stage are waiting for you to speak and are sympathetic to you.
Step 7
Play and sing like you're in rehearsal. Feel each other's support and be relaxed. Smile and joke.
