Arriving in an unfamiliar city or deciding to take a walk in their native land, people often do not know where to go. In fact, regardless of the size of the city, time of day and weather, you can find interesting and unusual solutions.

- - telephone;
- - the Internet.
Instructions
Step 1
If you do not know where to go in the city - it does not matter if you have lived in it all your life or just checked into a hotel, try to start by studying the tourist brochures. Exhibitions, museums, excursion routes - any city has history, works of art, interesting architectural objects. It often happens that even old-timers do not know all the interesting places, because they have never tried to look at their city through the eyes of a tourist.
Step 2
It may turn out that a banal tourist program will not interest you. Then it's worth taking a look at social networks on the Internet. Almost every city has its own page created by enthusiasts. On these pages you can learn about upcoming events, exhibitions of emerging artists and photographers, unusual places and events. In addition, as a rule, it is these sites that are imbued with real, and not official, love for the city, so the places described there really deserve close attention.
Step 3
You can devote time to exploring the original catering establishments. Large restaurants are the same in all cities, but small cozy cafes and eateries are different everywhere. These can be establishments of national cuisines (Chinese, Uzbek, Vietnamese) or just places with their own unique atmosphere: pubs, book-cafes, coffee shops in flower shops - unique places that must be visited to get to know the city better.
Step 4
Weather permitting, you can just go for a walk. Of course, walking in residential areas is not as interesting as walking in the historical center of the city, where, as a rule, most of the city's monuments and ancient buildings are concentrated. On the city map, such areas are specially marked, accompanied by a brief historical reference.
Step 5
Do not forget about the theaters that are in every city. Sometimes it's worth spending an evening watching a play based on your favorite book, or just getting to know the local reading of a famous work. But there are also amateur theaters, which sometimes amaze the most discerning spectators.
Step 6
If nothing happens in the city, and ordinary walks are bored, you can always go to the cinema for a long-awaited or, conversely, completely unknown film.
