Step 1
First of all, select the material in which you will wrap the gift. The variety of packaging materials is not limited to colored films and paper for a long time. The choice of packaging material largely depends on the gift itself. Garments can be wrapped in tougher materials (paper, polycard, double-sided plastic) to give the gift a shape. To wrap gifts in a box, use soft materials such as polysilicon or netting. For a beautiful design of bottles, take paper or polymer foil, a net is perfect for soft toys. Decide on the color scheme and packaging pattern. In this matter, it is necessary to take into account the age and gender of the recipient of the gift, as well as the event in honor of which the gift is presented. The classic and most versatile option would be plain paper. For men, blue, gray, green, burgundy, gold or brown are appropriate. For young men, choose materials of blue, purple, olive shades. Women's colors are traditionally considered: red, lilac, orange, golden. For girls, gentle shades of pink, lilac are suitable.

Think in advance and prepare decorative elements for decorating the package: flowers, feathers, bells, artificial pearls, ribbons. The simpler the wrapping material, the more interesting you can come up with a decoration in contrast to it. Material with a picture that reflects the theme of the event does not require additional elements to be decorated, or they should be very modest.
Step 4
Paper continues to be the most popular and affordable packaging material. Even a beginner can master the art of wrapping boxes with paper. To do this, you will need paper, double-sided and stationery tape, scissors. Cut a strip of such length from the roll to completely wrap the box with a margin of 1.5-2 cm. The width of the paper should overlap the side edges of the box. So, place the gift in the middle of a strip of paper, with its edge going along the edge of the box. Wrap a bow.

Another universal packaging material - film - will come to your aid when you need to arrange bulky gifts. Spread the film on the table, place a present in the center (vase, cup, soft toy). Tie the ends of the film over the top of the gift and tie it with a ribbon or brightly colored cloth. Trim the ends of the film carefully.
