From February 24 to March 2, the Wide Maslenitsa begins, at the end of which Great Lent will come. Well, for children, Maslenitsa is, first of all, an excuse to have fun, eat delicious pancakes with hot tea, take part in games and have a round dance, and finally, take part in the burning of a straw woman. Consider a few venues where folk festivals will take place this year, and where you can relax with the whole family.

Step 1
Kolomenskoye Estate Museum, March 1 12.00-18.00. They say that the biggest scarecrow of Maslenitsa will be right here. In total, the park will have 5 sites for folk festivals. Each site will have a wheel of farewell to winter, on which you can tie a ribbon with wishes. Each wheel is one of the Shrovetide details, and when it is burned, the wish on the ribbon must come true.
Competitions for dads will be organized such as tug-of-war, attraction "Russian Strongman", "Sword-kladenets" - to pull a sword out of a wooden block, "Heroic Hammer". For mothers, you can try to cope with the grip at the "pancake maker" competition, as well as learn how to paint spoons or felt boots.
At one of the venues, guests can try on traditional Russian folk costumes and take part in the filming of a film as extras.
In the park, you will always be offered to taste delicious pancakes with honey and hot tea for free, and at the end - the traditional participation in the burning of the Maslenitsa effigy.
Step 2
Park of Culture and Rest "Kuzminki", March 2 13.00-16.00. In addition to traditional Maslenitsa festivities, guests will be offered a ride on the most real old Russian wooden carousels. At the Pancake Station, guests will be treated to treats: pancakes, hot tea.
As part of a large-scale theatrical performance, Muscovites and guests of the capital will be told about the peculiarities of celebrating each of the seven days of the Wide Maslenitsa.

In three places in the city center, so-called "positive microphones" will be installed, with the help of which everyone can record on camera the most intimate thoughts, from wishes for peace to declarations of love.
Step 4
Museum-reserve "Tsaritsyno", March 2 at 13.00. The guests of the reserve will be offered to create the most unusual straw dolls symbolizing winter, and the jury members will choose the most interesting samples and present valuable prizes. In addition, of course, there are many competitions for children and adults in the park, round dances and dances, tea drinking with pancakes and, in the end, mass burning of effigies.
Step 5
Sokolniki Park, March 1-2, 12.00-21.00. Guests of the park will enjoy exciting contests and games, traditional pancake tasting. Children can ride on wooden swings, take round dances and even learn to dance Russian folk dances.
A concert and many competitions will take place on the territory, including a competition to create the best stuffed carnival of Maslenitsa.
Step 6
Bauman Garden, March 1, 13.00-16.00. The organizers invite guests to take a trip to various cuisines of the world: a food show will take place here, where Muscovites and guests of the capital will learn many new pancake recipes that are prepared in Europe, Asia and America. There will also be a tasting of dishes unusual for us: venison pie, Mexican burrito, Israeli shawarma, various sweets.
Many interesting master classes will be organized for children, for example, a lesson on painting pancakes with edible paint.
