Baptism is one of the most important church ordinances that leave an imprint on all life. And only the people closest to the family are allowed to participate in it. Therefore, the godparents are responsible for the spirituality of their godson, his future life with faith in his soul. It is no coincidence that godparents become practically dear people, and I would like to congratulate them in a special way on the most important Christian holiday - Christmas.

Step 1
If you live with your godparents in the same city, attend an evening church service together. The opportunity to touch something bright on Christmas night, to be the first to congratulate each other on this bright holiday will bring you closer together, instill joy and happiness in your soul.
Step 2
If for some reason you can't go to church, you can just celebrate this holiday together. And let the symbol be the Christmas star, which you together fix on the top of the festive tree. Other traditions include lighting candles on a Christmas wreath. Even if you did not follow the tradition completely (4 weeks before the holiday, one candle on a wreath is lit on Sundays), you can light all 4 candles together by placing the wreath in the center of the Christmas table. If you don't have a wreath, don't be discouraged, just present beautiful candles to your godfathers and let them light up your holiday dinner.
Step 3
Have a little family Christmas greeting: briefly tell about the holiday itself and its traditions. If the family has children, they can read poetry or sing Christmas carols. If you are celebrating the holiday with a large family, arrange Christmas fortune-telling with wishes baked in pies or cookies. It will amuse everyone and give a good mood. And do not forget to thank your friends and godparents for the fact that all these years they are with you, love and support you.
Step 4
If you and your godparents live in different cities and do not have the opportunity to see each other, send a festive parcel with gifts: traditional sweets, a Christmas card and warm words in a letter. Attach your photos, because they are interested in seeing how you look now, how much you have changed and matured. Be sure to call your godfathers this day and say your warmest wishes.
Step 5
In addition to traditional sweets, you can present other gifts symbolizing your love and gratitude to your godparents: warm mittens with a beautiful pattern, a shawl, a set of towels or a tablecloth with a New Year's pattern. A consecrated icon, which can be purchased in advance in the church, will be a wonderful gift.
