April 24 is a day of celebration of many events. For example, in Armenia, it is on this date that the Day of Genocide is celebrated. According to the interpretation of the Indian Vedas, April 24 is the holiday of Akshaya Tritiya - a day of lasting and lasting achievements. The Day of the Easter Uprising of 1916 and many others are celebrated. But the most famous are two modern holidays - International Day of Youth Solidarity and Radonitsa.
"Molodezhnoe" April 24
International Youth Solidarity Day or International Youth Solidarity Day was first celebrated on April 24, 1957, and its foundation was the initiative of the World Federation of Democratic Youth.
This day in developed countries serves as an occasion to draw the attention of the state, officials, representatives of private business, the media and other parts of society to the problems faced by young people - the choice of life path, widespread bad habits, vocational guidance and others.
For example, in many European countries, on April 24, youth and student demonstrations and rallies are held. Recently, on the International Day of Youth Solidarity, people of the middle age and older generation, worried about the fate of their children and grandchildren, have increasingly begun to show their civic position on the International Day of Youth Solidarity.
Active events on this very day call on society to strengthen control over the observance of the existing rights of youth to self-determination and creative activity in search of ways out of social, economic and political problems.

Radonitsa
This religious holiday was established by the Orthodox Church as a day on which it is customary to commemorate the dead.
This is also associated with the second name of Radonitsa - Easter for the dead.
On April 24, Orthodox Christians have the opportunity to symbolically share the joy of the resurrection of Jesus Christ not only with living people, but also with those who have already died. As John Chrysostom, who lived in the 4th century, testifies, during his lifetime Radonitsa was already celebrated in ancient cemeteries.
The origin of the name of the holiday from the word "joy" as it were encourages living Christians at least once a year not to grieve for those who have already died and not to lament the fate that took away loved ones, but, on the contrary, to rejoice that they have already passed into eternal life, such way, conquering death.
In Orthodox countries, it is customary to bring Easter attributes to the graves on Radonitsa - cakes and painted eggs, after which they are eaten right in the cemetery, as if sharing a meal with those who, even after death, are part of God's Church. As stated in the Gospel of Matthew, God “is not the God of the dead, but of the living” and does not leave his children either in this world or in that one.
