Step 1
Collect the necessary information about what New Year's program will be offered to citizens and tourists during the New Year holidays. Provide an approximate route for visiting major city attractions and commuter destinations. All the main places are mainly concentrated in the center. And therefore, the main festive events on New Year's Eve are held there.

Head to the Angara embankment, where the monument to Emperor Alexander III is located. This is one of the key places in the city to get acquainted with the cultural program. This famous house is the hallmark of Irkutsk.

If you are an avid lover of winter fishing, then use the most wonderful way to celebrate the New Year in a Siberian city - spend your winter holidays at one of the bases of Lake Baikal. A huge number of boarding houses and rest houses located near Irkutsk will offer you a wide variety of festive programs.

Go to numerous ski resorts along the famous Baikal tract or visit traditional New Year's places for skiers: Arshan, Listvyanka, tourist campsites on Baikal and the Maloye More.
