Step 1
To make salty ornamental dough, you need to combine all the ingredients and mix the composition thoroughly. You can entrust this exciting activity to children. Readiness is determined by consistency, the dough should be well molded.

If the composition crumbles, you need to add a little more water. In the case of increased viscosity, stickiness, it is recommended to add more flour. You can form a ball out of the prepared dough and make dents with your finger. If the shape is maintained, the dough is suitable for sculpting.

So that the dough does not stick to your hands and does not dry out quickly, it is advisable to pour two tablespoons of vegetable oil into it.
Step 4
To make Christmas tree decorations with your own hands, you can use cookie cutters by cutting out figures on a pre-rolled dough.

Next, the crafts should be decorated. You can decorate jewelry with beads, buttons, shells, sparkles. The latter are applied to a layer of glue, the former are simply enough to press into the dough.
Step 6
Using a cocktail straw, you can make holes and insert bright ribbons and strings into them.

Using a permanent marker or gouache, dried jewelry can be painted over.
Step 8
The sculpted products are dried in the air or in the oven. If plastic elements were used for decoration, figures cannot be placed in the oven.
