Visiting festive carnivals and matinees is one of the favorite childhood passions. There are a lot of children's carnival costumes on sale now, but the prices for many of them are simply extortionate, and the quality is not always excellent. Let's not fumble around online stores and make a bunny costume for a child with our own hands. Here are a couple of ways to arm yourself:

Step 1
We'll need white shorts and a white fur vest or matching casual wear. The hare's tail, which is sewn to the shorts, is made of padding polyester or faux fur in the shape of a ball. It remains for the completeness of the image to pick up mittens, "eared" hat and fur slippers.
Step 2
We are looking for a pattern for a cap, baseball cap or hood for a hat, we sew ears prepared in advance from two pieces of fabric, sewn in the form of a very narrow bag, into the seams of the dress. Better to use wire or something similar so that the ears stick out and can take any shape.
Step 3
Fur slippers are also easy to make. We circle the child's foot, enlarge it, not forgetting about the seam allowance. Sew a wide strip of fabric around the perimeter. We fold the top of the strip and sew it so that you can insert an elastic band or lace. We tighten the elastic and the slippers will take the final shape.
Step 4
You can supplement the suit with an artificial carrot purchased from a toy store. Or you can buy several small ones and form a garland out of them, which will hang on the neck of the "hare". Or you can give your child a real carrot on the road. After the holiday, it can be used for its intended purpose.
Step 5
Here's another way. Take a light shirt, you can have polka dots or with another similar pattern and a fur sleeveless jacket. White bag mittens are suitable for hands (the spaces between the fingers of such mittens are made using thick thread or thin dark rope). On long shorts, one-colored with a shirt, we make an applique of carrots. We sew it on with a sewing machine or with our hands and iron it. The bunny suit is ready.
