I always want to celebrate the New Year so that the holiday becomes unusual and memorable. Do not rely on chance and prepare in advance for the celebration - in this case, this fabulous night will not disappoint you.
Instructions
Step 1
Find good company for yourself. Some people prefer to spend time alone, but still New Year is not a holiday that should be celebrated alone. You can spend it with your family or with a loved one, or you can get together with good friends with whom you will be comfortable and fun.
Just make an appointment with everyone in advance so that your prospective New Year's companions do not decide to celebrate it with other people.
Step 2
Decide where you will be celebrating. By the way, the choice is not only between such banal things as "at home" and "away". You can, of course, invite everyone to your place or go to your friends, if this does not seem too common to you.
You can also celebrate the New Year on the street - near the city Christmas tree, listen to the chime of the clock not on TV, but in the very center of your city with hundreds of people. You can have fun in the square for a couple of hours, and then go to nature, if the weather permits, or to a country cottage, where you can have fun for the rest of the night.
You can also celebrate the New Year in a cafe or restaurant. Just book your tables in advance, as there are usually a lot of people willing. This option is great for people who are tired of the monotony of home meals, but do not want to come up with something on their own.
Perhaps the most beautiful way to celebrate the New Year is to travel. It doesn't really matter whether it will be an exotic Thailand beach, or a northern village in Finland, the center of New York or a small town in the outback of Russia. The main thing is that the atmosphere of the celebration is different from the place in which you have to be most of the time.
Step 3
Consider a celebration scenario. There is a good company and a suitable place, but there is not enough finishing detail so that you can later say: "The holiday was a success." If you are going to celebrate the New Year without the invitation of professional actors, toastmasters and animators, you will have to try to make everyone have fun.
Contests, New Year's songs and gifts, of course, are the usual attributes of the holiday, but it's worth coming up with something unusual. For example, you can put on a play with the participation of everyone present, distributing only the roles. The script will change as the action progresses.
Then you can turn off the lights and, in a romantic setting, tell in turn various stories, legends and tales associated with the New Year. It's better to work on this in advance so that everyone can get ready.
