The process of buying, creating and decorating New Year's gifts is perhaps the most enjoyable in all the pre-holiday bustle. Indeed, in these minutes all our thoughts are devoted to friends and relatives.

Instructions
Step 1
Make your own wrapping paper. To do this, use a regular white (or any other) sheet and a few pieces of cardboard. On cardboard, draw images of New Year's attributes - Christmas trees, balls, snowmen and gift boxes. Cut them out along the contour with a razor blade, trim the edges of the stencil with an old nail file or sandpaper. Take a small piece of foam rubber, wrap it with thread and wrap it in paper. Place the stencil on the sheet, dip the foam sponge in the paint and make a print. Irregularities can be corrected with a brush or felt-tip pen.
Step 2
Decorate the ribbon. On a regular satin ribbon or cotton tape, you can make a pattern using a stencil. Once the paint is dry, apply a clear glitter gel to the image - available from the kids' craft stores.
Step 3
Sew little bears and angels from fleece. To do this, make two identical patterns, fold them with the wrong side inward, lay a looped seam along the edge with a floss thread in 6 additions. Stuff the product with cotton, hide the end. Such angels can be attached to the bow, and so that they please everyone until the end of the New Year holidays, sew a loop to the head of each, for which they can be hung on the Christmas tree. The eyes can be drawn, embroidered or decorated with beads.
Step 4
Sew or knit Christmas boots. For sewing, you will need a bright fabric and a bias tape. You can make the pattern yourself, based on the size of the gift. Decorate the boot with appliqué, embroidery or beads. If you want to knit a New Year's sock, master the four-knitting technique. Use thick threads of multiple colors to create stripes.
Step 5
Make a big candy gift. To do this, wrap it completely in wrapping paper, collect it on both sides and tie it with tape. Instead of paper, you can use fabric with a New Year's pattern. In addition, you can put a large gift in the center of the fabric cut, raise the ends, make a kind of "knot" and fix the ends with tape.
