It is necessary

  • - several sheets of A5 paper;
  • - large and nail scissors;
  • - ruler;
  • - colored pencils or markers.

Instructions

Step 1

Before you start cutting out snowflakes from paper with your own hands, think about how your future craft will look like, but rather draw it. Then take a thin sheet of paper. It should be such that it is convenient to fold it several times and cut it with ordinary scissors or a sharp cleaver. It is best to use the A5 format in the form of finished sheets of the desired size or landscape sheets cut in half.

Step 2

Cut a piece of paper to make a regular square. It is enough to place it vertically on the table, fold it diagonally and connect the edges of the side and top sides, and then cut off the strip with a ruler. Fold the resulting blank into a triangle. After that, turn it upside down and fold it again to make a triangle that is half the size. Fold the shape again in height and match its sides.

Step 3

Try cutting a herringbone snowflake out of paper, which is easy to create and is a simple cut of triangles of the same or different sizes. Place the triangle in one of the arms so that you can see the side of the fold. Using scissors, cut out some triangles at the fold. You can get creative and create unique patterns, for example, by cutting out triangles, squares, ovals or circles or other fancy shapes. When you finish the craft, unfold and straighten it.

Step 4

Do not try to strive for the ideal when making snowflakes, since the skill will not come the first time. Even unsightly, but hand-made snowflakes will give the holiday a special atmosphere and become a real decoration of the apartment. Try to cut crafts not alone, but in the company of family or friends, so that things go faster and more perky.
