With the onset of New Year's holidays, many people strive to decorate their home with a green beauty. However, the needles quickly begin to crumble near the tree. And often, even before the onset of the holiday itself, the New Year's symbol remains without fragrant needles.
It is necessary
- - bucket, sand;
- - glycerin, aspirin;
- - potassium permanganate, ammonium nitrate.
Instructions
Step 1
Do not bring the tree directly into the house from frost. A sharp temperature drop has a negative effect on the needles. It will quickly dry out and crumble. It is better to give her some time to stand on the stairs, in the entrance, on the veranda or balcony, where she can gradually adapt to the warmth of the house.
Step 2
Remove the bark at the bottom of the trunk and refresh the cut at a 45-degree angle. This will provide more efficient nutrition to the tree.
Step 3
Place the tree in a large container filled with sand. Water the tree abundantly, being careful to keep the sand in the container moist at all times. In the case when it is not possible to put the tree in the sand, the bottom of its trunk can be wrapped with woolen or gauze cloth folded in several layers. The fabric must also be constantly wet. It is not recommended to water the tree with water containing a large amount of chlorine or calcium (ordinary tap water). Allow the tap water to sit for several hours before watering. Better yet, boil the tap water.
Step 4
Add glycerin to the water you will water the tree with - it will prolong the life of the New Year's beauty. Aspirin can disinfect water, which is an excellent antiseptic - bacteria that destroy the tree trunk will die. In addition, a small pinch of salt or a spoonful of granulated sugar dissolved in it will make the water for irrigation more nutritious.
Step 5
Prepare fertilizer for your tree. Take a few granules of potassium permanganate, popularly known as potassium permanganate, and dissolve them in water. If the tree is in a container with sand, potassium permanganate, reacting with it, will become an excellent microfertilizer. In addition, it is recommended to add fertilizers specially designed for coniferous trees to the sand. The composition, proportions, and dosage can be read on the instructions attached to them. Fertilizer for an evergreen tree will also serve as a solution made on the basis of water with the addition of two teaspoons of ammonium nitrate, 1 teaspoon of superphosphate and half a teaspoon of potassium nitrate.
With proper care, the tree will stand in the apartment for a long time and can even take root, starting to grow right in the bowl of sand.
