Wall newspapers, so popular half a century ago, have received a second wind in recent years. They are prepared for significant events and celebrations, dedicated to birthday people, anniversaries and whole groups. Bright, beautiful and meaningful, they bring variety and breathe life, both in any formal event, and in an ordinary party or family holiday.

Step 1
If you want to design a congratulatory newspaper, but have no idea how to do it or do not have enough time, then you can do it simply: find and entrust this work to professionals. In this case, you will only need the material on the basis of which it will be compiled - information about the event or about the person for whom you are starting this self-made publication. Provide all the texts and photos, clearly tell people your idea, specify the dates and ask them to show you the layout of the future newspaper. So you can always make your own adjustments, correct or add something.
Step 2
An easier option is to surf the Internet in search of a ready-made newspaper template. Find what you like the most, adjust to your taste and needs - and the task is completed.
Step 3
If you decide to arrange a congratulatory newspaper yourself, then you will need a piece of Whatman paper with a format of at least A1. You can make the newspaper smaller, but in this case, you can place a little material. And besides, take into account the place where you will attach it. On a large and empty wall, a small poster will look poor.
Step 4
Also, make sure you have the necessary paints. It can be gouache, oil or acrylic paints; scissors, glue, felt-tip pens, colored paper or cardboard and, depending on your idea and imagination, ribbons, beads, sparkles, etc.
Step 5
Define the topic of the newspaper and make an approximate plan of it: what parts it will consist of and what you want to put. This is necessary in order to determine the sequence of actions and the procedure for collecting information.
Step 6
In your newspaper, you can place various photographs, pictures, drawings, collages, poems and humorous comments, congratulations and wishes, anecdotes and aphorisms. For photographs, you can make frames or mat, as well as place them in templates.
Step 7
Spread the drawing paper on a horizontal surface and plan what will be placed and where. Above, usually in large letters, write the name or the word "Congratulations!" Texts can be typed on a computer in some attractive font, printed on a printer and attached to whatman paper. Short aphorisms, humorous signatures or comments can be written with paints or felt-tip pens. Place photos in frames or attach with corners.
Step 8
To make your work easier, try to find the frames you need, templates, congratulations and wishes, aphorisms and poems, search the Internet. The layout of the newspaper in black and white can be printed on a printer, and then everything can be pasted, entered and painted.
Step 9
You can try to make a newspaper that looks like a traditional print edition. Make it up on a computer by posting photos and texts - an essay about a person, a reportage, an interview; give the floor to friends and family separately. It will be very interesting if on the last page of your masterpiece you compose a thematic crossword puzzle related to interesting facts from a person's life, as well as an astrological forecast with promises of success and joyful surprises.
