Fake blood, oddly enough, enjoys great success, especially at costume parties. If you are preparing for Halloween, or want to prank someone on April Fool's Day, or maybe filming a horror movie at home, you cannot do without a blood substitute. Fortunately, you can buy it or make it yourself from the ingredients at hand.
It is necessary
- - corn starch
- - beets
- - water
- - thick syrup
- - food coloring
- - fabric paint
- - wallpaper glue
Instructions
Step 1
If you are making blood that will not be taken by mouth, then the liquid may be inedible, such as paint. However, regular watercolor paint is too liquid and can only be useful when simulating dried stains on clothing or paper. If you need a lot of blood, take fabric paint (available in art stores) and mix it with wallpaper glue. Take the proportions by eye, dilute to the consistency you need.
Step 2
Artificial blood, which can be taken by mouth, is made only from food ingredients. For example, from beetroot juice. To make such blood, boil beets in water, add starch to the resulting liquid until it thickens. If the blood you have created is not red or scarlet enough, you can correct the situation by adding food coloring to it at the tip of a knife.
Step 3
Another edible blood imitation is a thick strawberry syrup, available in the bakery section of any supermarket. Add some cornstarch if needed. If you don't have strawberry syrup, you can take chocolate and mix it with dry red Easter egg paint.
