The Berlin Love Parade has been held since 1986. Its founding father was DJ Dr. Motte. For several years, the attendance of the phenomenal procession accompanied by the sounds of techno music has increased to one and a half million people. Other countries of the world have adopted this beautiful tradition. But tourists most often want to get to the Love Parade in Berlin.

The tradition of holding love parades was created by German techno DJ Mathias Röing in 1989. Until 2004, processions, accompanied by dozens of festive platforms, sexually dressed boys and girls, and liters of traditional German beer, invariably took place along the 17th June street and in the Tiergarten park.

In 2004 and 2005, the tradition was broken: there were no funds to hold the Love Parade in Berlin. The spectacular show was restored only in 2006 by the efforts of the owner of sports clubs, Rainer Schaller, but the action was transferred to the Ruhr region, in the north-west of Germany, to the city of Duisburg.

But 2010 brought tragic events. During the revived Love Parade, an unexpected stampede occurred, as a result of which 21 people of different nationalities were killed. More than 500 guests were badly affected. After this incident, the parade was banned by the German authorities.

However, in other countries, the tech show continued. And in 2012 it was allowed to revive the Love Parade in Berlin again. In social networks, activists began to create official pages of the event, for example, on Facebook “Loveparade back to Berlin”. This news instantly excited the ravers, who began to wonder how to get to the Love Parade in Berlin.

The planned date of the event is July 21, the venue is 17 June Street. To get to the Love Parade in Berlin, you need to book tickets and a hotel in the German capital by the required date. You also need to apply for a Schengen visa in order to easily cross the border of a country that is a member of the European Union. The start of the love parade is scheduled for 13.30.

But to date, information about the 2012 Love Parade (which was renamed B-Parade) in Berlin is ambiguous. On July 4, the site n-tv.de posted a link to the announcement of the organizers of the new march about the refusal to hold it. The main reason for this decision was the insufficient amount of funds raised. The sponsors simply did not dare to finance the event, which took the lives of people several years ago. Nevertheless, you shouldn't give up hope of getting to the Love Parade in Berlin. The organizers say that they will still strive to revive the culture of techno music in Europe.
