Step 1
Contact the Embassy of the Kingdom of Great Britain or any other official British Visa Application Center in the Russian Federation. Ask the employee for a questionnaire in English. Fill it out with a copy of a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation, a copy of a foreign passport, an original passport and two photographs 35 by 45 millimeters in size without a corner. At the same time, at least one page must be free in the passport.

Since the percentage of visa refusals at the British Embassy is high, the presence of other visas in the passport can play a positive role. Vigilant embassy staff pay great attention to this.
Step 3
Wait for your application to be reviewed and collect your visa in person. It is impossible to do this through your representative. Thus, try to carve out time in your business schedule to visit the embassy.

You can also download the application form from the website of the British Visa Application Center (https://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/countries/russian-federation/?langname=Russian), fill it out, print, paste a photo and send it by regular or courier mail to the Visa Application Center. You still have to come in person to get a visa. Don't forget to pay your visa fee. At the same time, it is paid only online, according to the website of the Visa Application Center. Cash payments are prohibited.

You may also be required to submit your biometric data, even if information about it is contained in your passport.

Remember that there are no direct flights to Glasgow from Russia. The easiest way to change trains is in London. Better to book your tickets in advance.
