Many newlyweds, especially brides, want to make the wedding of their dreams come true and do not spare money for it. Which, unfortunately, is often used by unscrupulous wedding service providers. How to protect yourself as much as possible from possible deception?

The most unpleasant cheating is money cheating. This can happen, for example, when ordering a wedding banquet. You order a holiday in a restaurant, make an advance payment and continue to calmly prepare for the wedding. Then you suddenly find out that the restaurant has closed for one reason or another. Of course, no one answers the phone and it becomes clear that they are not going to return the money. In most cases, this goes unpunished, since the process of filing a lawsuit is red tape that is not part of the wedding plans. And even if the case is brought to court, it is almost impossible to receive compensation, since the legal entity by that time will already be closed or declared bankrupt.

No one can give a 100% guarantee, however, before making an advance payment, it is better to ask about the history of the restaurant: how many years it has existed, who are the owners, whether they have other restaurants, ask the hosts and decorators about it. Do not judge the reliability of a restaurant by the communication of a manager or administrator, they are just employees. If you book a banquet long before the event, it is better to make the minimum prepayment possible.

Photographers, decorators, make-up artists or presenters throw money much less often. These are rather exceptional cases, as they value their reputation. Unless there is a scammer who collects prepayments or leaves for another city or country, but this is unlikely. But from them you can expect a different kind of deception. For example, photographers, decorators or makeup artists sometimes pass off other people's work as their own. This dishonest way is practiced by beginners who do not yet have their own portfolio.

Take a close look at their social media profiles. In 99 percent of cases, they actively use social networks for their promotion. Pay special attention to the comments on the photos and on the wall! If the opportunity to comment is closed - this is a very bad sign! The only exceptions are media personalities. The "average" leader will never hide comments if he works honestly and well. But reviews in groups and profiles on social networks will only be good, because they themselves, of course, will delete bad ones. But you can contact the author of the reviews in private messages and ask questions of interest. As a rule, brides are happy to share details. But for reviews you need to go to specialized forums for brides - there you will find different opinions.

"Petty" deception includes such troubles as promises and not to do. A panacea for this is an agreement where you need to write down all the points that are important for you, down to the smallest detail. Since the final settlement takes place after the completion of the work, it is possible to indicate non-compliance with the contract on site. For example, the decorator did not put flowers on the table or they are not of the same color as in the contract - you can talk about a forfeit. The bride usually has no time for this on her wedding day, so it is better to determine who is in charge. Of course, do not pay the entire payment immediately upon signing the contract.

A few more signs of unprofessionalism: a person scolds competitors, praises himself very much, does not know how to listen, does not have a sense of tact.
