Organization of a hike is a rather troublesome occupation. And it doesn't matter at all whether you are going for a short two-day walk or go on a long journey through forests, mountains and steppes. You should prepare for this event very thoroughly, because where you go there will be no electricity, running water and other amenities familiar to a city dweller.

It is necessary

  • - backpack;
  • - sleeping bag;
  • - tent;
  • - map and compass;
  • - flashlight, spare light and battery;
  • - hygiene items;
  • - sewing accessories;
  • - matches;
  • - tableware;
  • - a first aid kit;
  • - clothes;
  • - Food.

Instructions

Step 1

The main attribute of any hike is a large roomy backpack made of durable waterproof material, equipped with many different sized pockets and compartments. So that during the hike the straps of the backpack do not rub your shoulders, sew them with a soft cloth: felt, felt or cloth.

Step 2

Put soft things in the compartment facing the back, and all other attributes of camping equipment in the outer compartment. In the outer pockets, put items that you should always have at hand: a compass, a knife, a rope, toilet paper.

Step 3

You can't do without a sleeping bag during the hike. Even if you go camping during the hot summer season, opt for a warm sleeping bag. If you get hot, you can always unfasten it. If you freeze in a thin bag, it will be very difficult to keep warm.

Step 4

A tourist tent will add comfort to your stay in nature. When choosing it, consider how many people will "live" in it. But remember that the larger the tent, the higher the weight.

Step 5

Be sure to take with you a map of the area chosen for the hike and a compass, a flashlight with a spare light and battery, sewing accessories in case of damage to things: thick threads, a needle, buttons, as well as hygiene items: a towel, soap, toothpaste and a brush, toilet paper.

Step 6

Don't forget the matches. In order to protect them from dampness, wrap the matchboxes in plastic bags, which, in turn, put in a plastic container with a tight-fitting lid.

Step 7

Take along a small aluminum pot, water bottle, thermos, mug, spoon, and folding knife. Leave space in your backpack for a first aid kit, in which you can put insect repellent spray, cream or gel, remedies for bruises, burns, cuts, headaches and toothaches, bandages, cotton wool.

Step 8

Choose the appropriate outfit for the hike. Uncomfortable clothing that restrains movement can ruin your mood and rest. Therefore, give preference to a light, spacious jacket and pants. If you are going on a hike during the cold season, wear thermal underwear. Shoes, like clothing, should be as simple, comfortable and loose as possible. Place three to four pairs of cotton socks and two pairs of warm woolen socks in your backpack.

Step 9

And of course, take care of your food on the hike. Take with you a variety of cereals, pasta, canned fish or meat, potatoes, tea leaves, vegetable oil, salt, sugar.
