In 1939, poet Robert L. May wrote a poem starring the ninth deer, Rudolph. He had a distinctive feature - a red nose, glowing in the dark. Because of this, other reindeer constantly mocked Rudolph. But one Christmas, there was a heavy fog. It is not known how Santa could have found children at home who were eagerly awaiting gifts, if not for Rudolph's amazing nose, which illuminated his path like a flashlight. Since then, Rudolph not only got rid of ridicule, but also led a reindeer team.

In addition, unlike Santa Claus, who always solemnly enters houses through the front door, Santa gives gifts secretly, under cover of night, entering the house through the chimney. It is difficult to imagine how he would climb through the chimney with the Snow Maiden.
