On the eve of the New Year, I want not only to decorate the Christmas tree, but also to decorate the whole house in order to create a magical holiday atmosphere. Draw funny winter patterns on the windows: snowflakes, Christmas balls and Christmas angels.
It is necessary
Gouache, artificial snow, New Year stencils, stationery knife, stained glass paints, brushes
Instructions
Step 1
Think about what kind of Christmas figurine you would like to see on your window, and start creating. You can paint with special paint for painting on glass, watercolors or toothpaste, previously mixed with white gouache. If you don't want to mess around with washing gouache from windows, then buy children's stained glass paints. They differ in that the drawing is first applied to the film, and then transferred to the glass. You can paint with brushes or foam sponges.
Step 2
If you do not have artistic talent, and you really want to decorate the windows, then resort to a little trick. Find a suitable drawing on the Internet, print it on white paper and carefully attach it with tape on the back of the glass. Now, seeing a sample in front of you, you can easily create! To make the drawing look holistic and beautiful, use no more than 4 colors. After completely dry, take a thin brush and trace the contours with black gouache.
Step 3
With the help of stencils and artificial snow, you can paint a wonderful winter pattern on the glass. Print your chosen sample or buy a ready-made stencil from a store. Cut out with a clerical knife or thin scissors what should be painted over. Attach the resulting stencil to the glass and spray artificial snow on it from a distance of 30-50 centimeters, it is sold in stores and looks like paint in spray cans. After 5 - 10 minutes, remove the stencil and admire the finished drawing. In the same way, you can decorate the mirrors in the house, due to the reflection, very beautiful winter patterns are obtained!
Step 4
Involve children in decorating windows, maybe this will become your New Year's family tradition. Do not be afraid of the prospect of glass washing, because the joy and magical atmosphere of the holiday, which the New Year's painted windows will bring to the house, will more than compensate for this small inconvenience.
