Although mothers often say that they do not need to give anything for the holiday or that the child's good behavior and excellent school performance will be the best gift for them, it will still be pleasant for the child to give his mother his own gift. And mom, of course, will be happy to receive such a surprise. Children can make a gift with their own hands or choose it in the store. Some people specifically set aside pocket money for this. However, the child does not possess large sums, and he often does not want to buy a cheap souvenir. Therefore, it is more preferable to prepare a gift with your own hands for a child.

Very young children, aged 3 to 7 years old, can present their own handicraft as a gift, for example, a drawing, a plasticine craft made in kindergarten, a postcard drawn specially for the holiday, an applique. Let the older family members also take part in making the gift and help the child, then his craft will turn out better, and the child himself will feel more confident. Just don’t have to do all the work for the child, it can upset him. It is worth supporting the baby and performing only complex operations, showing how to glue the details of the applique or how best to design a postcard.

Primary school children can perform more complex gifts. If a girl is fond of needlework, she can make simple embroidery, sew a special thing for her mother, for example a pillow or an apron, knit a small product for her, make a soft toy mascot. Boys also do crafts by hand, burn wood or make souvenirs.

Schoolchildren can use all their talents and hobbies to please their mother. If a child attends circles, additional classes or leisure centers, he may well use the knowledge gained to prepare a gift. For mom, you can write yourself or learn a poem, come up with a composition for her on a musical instrument, give a high-quality picture in a frame, sing a song, show a dance or even play a play. After all, mom will be pleased to receive not only some material creativity, but also to see the performance in her honor.

If you still want to present some kind of gift from the store, then it is better not to buy the mother what the child likes, but what the mother herself is not fond of. Usually it is not recommended to buy figurines and souvenirs, they will at best stand on shelves or gather dust in boxes. You can choose an inexpensive gift that mom will use: fluffy slippers or a towel, a beautiful scarf or shawl. She will also be pleased to receive a box of chocolates for a postcard or in addition to a handmade gift.
