It will be a pleasant surprise for the guests if you read poems about each of them at the festive table. It is not necessary to have a special talent for this - it is enough to show a little imagination and creativity.

Instructions

Step 1

It is best to write poems about each of the guests yourself. But keep in mind that a poem written illiterately, clearly cutting the ear, is unlikely to please them. The absence of even one rhyme can spoil the impression of the entire text. If you cannot do without this, write the so-called "white" verses, in which there is a rhythm, and rhymes are completely absent. Do not write the usual verses about some guests, and “white” about others, so that the style of your presentation is uniform.

Step 2

Be sure to mention the name of the guest and his profession in the poem. In them, tell them what you think he has positive qualities.

Step 3

If you do not want to write poems yourself, take ready-made ones that are suitable for the topic. It is desirable that they also mention the occupation of the guest. Modify the poem slightly so that it contains the name of the person in whose honor it is being sung. Do not choose too well-known works for such a remake.

Step 4

Do not greet guests with verses right from the doorway. Wait at least until everyone is seated at the festive table.

Step 5

In advance, select a family member who will read the poem. As a criterion for selection, use not only oratory, but also, more importantly, the person's desire to be a reader. Take the time to do a few rehearsals. The speaker must necessarily learn the poems by heart and read them without hesitation. The presence of a "piece of paper" in his hands is unacceptable. If the performer is a child, in no case ask him to stand while reading on a chair or stool - children perceive this as a punishment.

Step 6

In no case tell guests in advance that verses will be read about them. Hide it from them until the very moment of their execution. If everything is done flawlessly, guests will surely enjoy the pleasant surprise prepared for them.
