In honor of the 70th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War, Russia will hold the largest parade in all the post-war years. Along with the main types of weapons, the Russian army will be represented by a high-tech novelty - the Armata T-14 tank. This tank will be the progenitor of a new era of tank building and will have to replace all outdated samples from the times of the Soviet Union.
Armata T-14 is equipped with a 125 mm smoothbore cannon capable of firing guided projectiles. The tank is fully automated. The tower is controlled using a special console, since the tank's crew of three is located in the capsule armor inside the tank itself.
By 2020, Uralvagonzavod plans to produce 2,300 units of military equipment and completely re-equip the Russian army. Indeed, this tank is a novelty, and not a repetition of the samples of the 70s. With a tank weight of 48 tons, it can easily accelerate to 90 km per hour. The tank's radars are capable of fixing targets at a distance of more than 5 km. The tank is also capable of hitting the target at 8000 meters.
Another novelty of the parade will be the Kurganets-25 mechanized infantry fighting vehicle. It will be manufactured in both tracked and wheeled versions. In the car, the crew will be separated from the infantry. The main armament of BMP and armored personnel carriers Kurganets-25 will be 30 and 57 mm cannon.
Also, the audience will be shown the new RS-24 Yars intercontinental ballistic missile, produced on the basis of the Topol-M missile and including some units from Bulava. The missile is equipped with the ability to evade enemy air defenses and hit a target in any conditions at a distance of up to 12,000 kilometers.
So this parade will be colorful and unforgettable in terms of content and breadth of scope. Looking at the masterpieces of our military equipment, there is a feeling of pride for our country and those people who design all this.
