To see the May 9 parade, head to central Moscow. The metro stations Tverskaya, Mayakovskaya, Okhotny Ryad and others closest to Red Square will be open until 7 a.m. Then, so that there is no crush due to the huge number of people who want to visit the city center, the exits from them are blocked, leaving the remote ones accessible - Belorusskaya, Borovitskaya, etc. Therefore, if you do not want a long walk, come to Tverskaya Street in advance.

The main action takes place on Red Square. They are allowed to go there only by invitation. If you do not have one, you will have to be content with broadcasting the parade on large screens installed on the main streets of the city. Also from Tverskaya one can see a representation of planes - they fly over the center of Moscow and just over this street.

Veterans of the Great Patriotic War, combatants, holders of the Order of the Red Star, stars of Glory, heroes of Russia and the Soviet Union have the right to visit Red Square itself. You can find out if you fall into one of the categories at the district military registration and enlistment office, the Council of Veterans, as well as at the organizing committee of the parade. Usually, its employees distribute a certain number of invitations to the above organizations. And then tickets are handed out to the most worthy.

Relatives of the participants in the procession can also watch the parade from the podium. This right is given to the relatives of the veterans of the Great Patriotic War who take part in the parade. They are accompanying elderly people, helping them to get to the main square of the country, and after the end of the action to leave it.
