Instructions

Step 1

First, put some simple object in front of you, it is better if it is bright. For example, it can be a flower, a box from a disc, an apple. Then take a close look at this object for a few minutes, try to capture it in your memory. Closing your eyes, try to draw an image of this object in your imagination, remember everything: shape, size, any details and details. Remember the image you created. Open your eyes and compare the real object with what you have done. Take a close look at all the details that have been overlooked. Then, closing your eyes again, refine your look. Repeat this procedure until you can create a completely identical visual image of the subject.

Step 2

Taking one of the objects that you already used in the first exercise, get an accurate image of it, then try to sketch its shape and details. For the first time, you can choose some simple item. Your drawings must be judged not by artistic skill, but by how fully you have reflected all the details. Don't feel like you can't draw correctly. The main thing in this exercise is to complete it. Moreover, your model should be an image created in the imagination.

Step 3

These two exercises will allow you to significantly develop your observation and memorization ability to such an extent that after a few training sessions you will be able to remember all the details of the subject after a quick glance at it. If you like these exercises, then move on to more difficult. The subject for you can be, for example, a building or a landscape. But before that, do one more exercise: try to restore the visual image of your loved ones. You will be surprised at how vague it is.

Step 4

The most common mistake is that we remember the face as a whole, but it is necessary - in the details. You should not try to "perceive" the whole subject as a whole. First, start with the chin, nose, eyes, ears, forehead, and so on. Carefully memorize these facial details, redraw them in your imagination, and then move on to the next.

Step 5

There is another secret of developing mindfulness: at the moment of strong nervous tension, do not grab a cigarette, but do the first exercise. After 10 minutes, you will release all tension and be in a good mood again.
