You can pack even a very large gift yourself, without resorting to the services of specialized salons. For this, cardboard, colored and wrapping paper, ribbons, fabric, as well as imagination come in handy.
Instructions
Step 1
If the gift fits in a large cardboard box, for example from under the TV, make sure it doesn't move freely there. Close the box and decorate it. Use the pages of glossy magazines. You can create themed stories to match the occasion of the gift giving. If you want to use wrapping paper, choose a textured material like the one used to make flowers for the November and May Day demonstrations. With this paper, you can create an exclusive design on the sides of the box. To do this, apply the outlines of flowers, animals or objects on the box with PVA glue, try to keep the line width the same everywhere. Place the wrapping paper on the prepared side of the box. Where the paper grasps with the glue, the outline of what you have drawn will appear. On the rest of the plane, its surface will remain the same textured and uneven as it was.
Step 2
If you have stock pieces of wallpaper, use them for packaging. Previously, it is better to place the gift in a box or make a large cylinder out of cardboard, attach the bottom with paper clips. Remember that it is better not to understand such a gift for the upper part. If the wallpaper is plain, decorate the packaging with a wallpaper border or satin ribbons, the width of the ribbons should correspond to the size of the gift. Use two types of ribbons, satin and sheer, and tie a bow at the top. If the wallpaper is colorful or patterned, you should not decorate it with a border.
Step 3
The gift can be placed in a large piece of specially purchased fabric. When buying, pay attention to the width of the fabric, match it with the size of the gift. Place the gift in the middle, raise the corners, carefully gather the edges and tie the resulting knot with a ribbon or decorative cord. Any fabric can be used as a material - from chintz to silk. If desired, use two types of fabric - thicker and transparent, such as organza. Place them on top of each other to form a cross and collect. Disused curtains can be used as a transparent material.
