Preparing for the Easter holiday is a great occasion to show your creative imagination. Here are some ideas to help you make your holiday special and interesting.
Decorating eggs
You can add a beautiful multi-colored pattern to the eggs using an unnecessary tie. Wrap the egg with a tie cloth, tie it with threads and boil for 15 minutes.
Another interesting option for Easter eggs decor is gluing them with various cereals. Cover the eggs with glue and stick cereals, seeds and grains onto them. You can also use peas and beans. You can lay out any patterns from cereals - there is a large space for a flight of imagination!
We delight the kids with chocolate eggs
Melt the chocolate in a water bath. Wash the egg with baking soda, make a small hole in the shell and pour the white and yolk through it. Fill the eggshells with melted chocolate and refrigerate.
Making a nest basket for eggs
Making a basket for decorated Easter eggs is very easy. From the beige cardboard, cut out a rectangle, a circle for the bottom, and a strip for a pen. Roll the rectangle into a cylinder, glue the bottom and attach the handle. Fill the basket with thin strips of brown corrugated paper for twigs. Fill the nest with eggs and decorate with flowers.
Making an Easter candle
Another element of Easter decor is an ornate egg-shaped candle. To make it, you will need: a raw egg, colored wax, a candle wick, jewelry (beads, ribbons, etc.). Make a hole in the egg and carefully pour out the contents. On the other side, make another small hole for the wick.
Thread the wick into the shell and secure with electrical tape on one side, and wrap it around a toothpick on the other. Heat the wax and pour it gently into the egg. For convenience, place the egg in a container. When the wax hardens, peel it off. Tie the finished candle with a ribbon or decorate with beads.
Cooking a delicious treat - jellied eggs
Serve an original appetizer on the Easter table - jellied eggs. To prepare 7 eggs you will need: 300 g of chicken fillet, green peas, bell pepper, 2 tbsp. l. gelatin and parsley. Boil the chicken fillet. Make a 2 cm hole in the eggs from the blunt end, through which pour the contents - you don't need them.
Rinse the shells well, preferably with baking soda. Dissolve gelatin in 100 ml of cold water and leave for an hour. Then mix it with 200 g of hot chicken stock. Fill the shells with finely chopped fillets, pepper chunks, peas and parsley sprigs and cover with broth. Refrigerate overnight.
Decorating the Easter tree
Young willow twigs are most often used as an Easter tree. Place them in a large vase filled with water. The main decoration of the Easter tree is painted eggs suspended from ribbons. All contents must first be removed from the eggs. Tie a knot on the ribbon and thread it through a needle with a large eye. Pass the tape through the egg.
