Many parents of modern children grew up watching the Star Wars movie and are ardent fans of its heroes, including the stormtrooper. Now you can find a costume for this character on the Internet, but if you don't have time to wait for your order, you can make a costume with your own hands.
It is necessary
Plastic bottles, acrylic paints and varnish, white laces, hole punch, felt, glue, scissors
Instructions
Step 1
The stormtrooper suit is notable for the fact that it is almost completely white. Black parts are visible between the glossy white trim, and the stormtrooper's head is crowned with a helmet resembling a bucket in outline. In the hands of a stormtrooper, a laser pistol to defend the interests of the empire.
Step 2
Thus, it is understood that the suit consists of several layers. The bottom layer is black tight-fitting clothing. Leotards and a turtleneck will do. Only they should be thin and not woolen - otherwise the child will sweat and itch all the time.
Step 3
White casing can be made from plastic bottles. Cut off the neck and bottom from them so that they form tubes. You will need two of these cylinders for each arm and leg. In total, there are already 8 bottles. Sand the edges so that they do not hurt your baby and cause him discomfort while walking. Punch holes on the back, inside, top and bottom of each bottle. Connect the bottles together with a white string. It is advisable to do this on the child in order to accurately measure the length of the lace so that the baby can move freely.
Step 4
Cut out two parts of the front and back from the bottles. Solder them together with a candle or a lighter. Also use a hole punch and white laces to connect them to the rest of the details. Whatever one may say, but you will have to put on the child white panties over black tights to make the stormtrooper suit complete. Cutting out this part from plastic is not recommended - the baby is unlikely to be able to sit and walk in such a hard and uncomfortable uniform.
Step 5
After fastening all the parts, paint them with white acrylic paint, and after drying, cover with a glossy varnish for shine. Any white footwear will do, such as sports sneakers with no markings or emblems.
Step 6
A stormtrooper suit is incomplete without a helmet. Of course, it is not very good to put a bucket on a child's head, so it is better to cut it out of thick fabric. For example, felt will do. Cut out a circle with a radius of about a quarter of the baby's head and two trapezoids, the top of which will be half the circumference of the circle, and the bottom slightly exceed the top. Sew all the details. Cut out the triangle eyes and mouth out of black felt. Glue them to the blank of the helmet and cut small holes in them for the eyes, nose and mouth.
