Bar-tour - such a new entertainment appeared recently in Moscow. Its essence is to meet with friends and walk through different bars in the capital. The idea itself is not new: bar tours are practiced in the largest European cities - Berlin, London, Amsterdam and many others. This current also captured American New York. Of course, there are a number of differences in details that apply to such excursions. But the main idea is the same everywhere - a fun and intoxicating pastime in various bars.
Russia decided not to lag behind and adopted the European experience in organizing such events. Several young activists, having gathered one evening in a bar, later moved to another, then a third, etc. Such a voyage around the night capital prompted them to think that it is possible to organize such trips for others - both on occasion and without. They created their page on one of the social networks, and today the number of members in the group reaches 400 people.
Going on such an alcoholic journey is relatively easy. You can send an application by e-mail or go to the official page of the organizers on the social network and publish your request there. In response, you will be sent an invitation ticket by courier. It can be a regular rectangular card, but in most cases, participants receive an invitation in the form of a glass. The ticket price ranges from 800-1200 rubles. On the invitation, the meeting place will be written where you need to come at the appointed time. The tourist company is joined by a professional bartender, event organizer and photographer. The group, on average, consists of 15-18 people. An obligatory requirement is that everyone must be lovers of outdoor activities.
The invited bartender clarifies the taste preferences of each of the guests, conducts a survey and determines their alcoholic endurance, after which each one gives his recommendations on which cocktail can be tasted by this or that person in the bar. By the way, the presence of a bartender-guide is a feature of Moscow bar-tours. No other country in the world provides such a service.
The number of establishments that must be visited by the participants of the bar tour ranges from 6-10 pieces per night. Naturally, they will not drag anyone by the hand; you can refuse to participate at any time, as soon as you feel that you do not have enough strength for more.
The benefit of such "tourism" is that people can learn a lot about the bars of the capital, expand the geography of their trips, and replenish the treasury of knowledge about alcoholic drinks and cocktails from them. Besides, such walks are a great way to make new acquaintances.
