The Scheveningen Sand Sculpture Festival, held near the famous The Hague, is a world-famous event that gathers beach lovers from all over the world. To become a participant in this festival is both simple and difficult at the same time. The main difficulty, as usual, is knowledge of languages. However, it can also be overcome.

Instructions
Step 1
To participate in the Sand Sculpture Festival in Scheveningen, near The Hague, you must first create your own project. Arm yourself with a brush and easel, pencil and paper, crayons, or run a special program for creating graphics. Create a drawing of what you would like to present at the festival, making it as close as possible to a real sand sculpture. Remember: the sand sculpture festival annually attracts a huge number of participants from all over the world, and it is quite difficult to surprise the jury of the qualifying round here. The project should be bright, memorable and, most importantly, not involving metal structures or compounds that hold the sand mixture together.
Step 2
Upon completion of the project, simulate the future sculpture in reality, relying on the laws of physics and technological production of sand sculpture. Remember: far protruding parts of the sculpture can collapse, due to the accumulation of water in the depths of the sculpture, it can literally creep away, dry sand has properties completely different from wet sand. If you are sure that the sculpture you have drawn can be built in reality, proceed to the third step.
Step 3
Send an application for participation in any form to the email address of the organizing committee of the event: [email protected]. The project of the sand sculpture that you intend to implement must be attached to the application. Please note that the application must be written in Dutch, which can be assisted by a professional translator or online version.
Step 4
Wait for a response from the organizing committee or find out about the fate of the application by calling the organizing committee: 0031 (0) 70-3069911. Please note that the period for consideration of the application may be two weeks from the date of its receipt.
Step 5
With the consent of the organizing committee, purchase air tickets to the city nearest to The Hague and go for a well-deserved victory. You can clarify the issues of accommodation and performance by calling the same phone number of the organizing committee, indicated earlier. Before the start of the speech, it is recommended to repeat the theory, remembering, for example, that the ideal ratio of materials for the construction of sand sculptures is eight parts of dry sand to one part of water, and mixing small rounded grains of sand with large ones leads to unexpectedly pleasant results for a sand builder.
