Nikolay Ozerov - athlete and commentator

Nikolai Ozerov was born on December 11, 1922. Ozerov played tennis since childhood, and in 1934 he became the Moscow junior tennis champion. Later he achieved many victories in this sport and received the title of master. Another hobby of Ozerov was theater. He graduated from GITIS and performed more than 20 roles on stage, playing in the Moscow Art Theater. When television began to develop rapidly, it turned out that Ozerov was ideally suited for the role of a sports commentator - he knew sports well and had stage speech skills. Ozerov conducted dozens of reports from various countries and received the title of People's Artist.
