Both schoolchildren and students have a lot of free time in the summer. It is advisable not to waste it, but to have a good rest by the next academic year. There are many ways to do this.
Instructions
Step 1
Take a trip. If you are already 18 years old, it is quite possible to organize it on your own, or even better - by teaming up with friends. Volunteer work is a good option for an inexpensive vacation. They can be associated with environmental activities - planting trees, protecting animals. There are also projects for the restoration of cultural heritage sites, social work with children and pensioners. Thus, you can work both in Russia and in other countries of the world. The bottom line is that you work for free for several hours a day, and in return you are provided with housing, food and entertainment. There are similar programs not only for students, but also for schoolchildren, but they usually require significant organizational fees. While volunteering, you would be able to meet new people, as well as improve your spoken English - there are many foreigners in such places.
Step 2
Become a camp counselor. This is suitable for high school students and students who like to communicate with younger ones, as well as organize their leisure time. It is desirable to have leadership qualities. So you can relax in nature and make money.
Step 3
Organize a hiking trip. It can be short, one day, or take more than one week. It's good if you have a person playing the guitar with you - singing songs by the fire will remain a pleasant moment for you on your journey. When forming a group, it is advisable to find at least one experienced tourist. Do not forget about precautions - when hiking in the forest, especially if you live in the Urals or Siberia, it is advisable to get vaccinated against tick-borne encephalitis. Moreover, the medicine should be administered even before the start of the tick season, in winter or early spring.
Step 4
Take up study during the summer holidays, for example, improve your level of a foreign language. For schoolchildren, special camps are organized, where, along with entertainment, there is also language training. A camp like this can be much more fun than a regular camp. Learning takes place in a playful way, for example, you can participate in theatrical performances in English, in speaker contests, and so on.
